Chapter 1 Recording Secretary Vacancy:
If you are interested in applying for the position of Recording Secretary, please email [email protected] expressing your interest. If at least 2 candidates come forward, a special election will be held. 

Chapter 01 Metro Area Meetings will resume with a cap of 35 attendees.  RSVP is required to attend.  If you do not RSVP, you will not be granted entry. Please RSVP your name and a valid email address to [email protected].  We would like to obtain an email address in case we do need to return to virtual meetings. Face mask and social distancing guidelines will be followed at these meetings.

Gold Card Invitations have been mailed to all eligible members. Please keep an eye out for invitations in the coming days and be sure to return the RSVP form to the hall by June 30, 2021 if you plan to attend.

2021 Meeting Changes or Cancelled Events:

Chapter 8 MN SE MN Faribault Meetings Canceled - BAC Local #1 has decided to permanently cancel all Chapter 8 MN SE MN Faribault Meetings due to low attendance.  The Bean Feed will still take place at the Faribault Eagles Club, 2027 Grant Street, Faribault, MN, at 7:00 PM on Monday, November 1, 2021

The Minnesota Legislature can strengthen safety standards for refinery workers, the environment, and the community by passing the Safe & Skilled Workforce Act (Refinery Safety Bill).

Oil refineries are among the highest-hazard facilities in Minnesota for both workers and local residents. This bill will require contractors working at oil refineries to employ a qualified workforce trained through registered apprenticeship or equivalent programs.


If a member in good standing refers a craftworker with experience (evaluated at 2nd year or above) the referring member will receive $450.00 and the new member will receive $450.00 after the new member works 1000 hours with a signatory contractor. 

If a member in good standing refers an apprentice craftworker, the referring member will receive $450.00 and the apprentice will receive $250.00 after completing 1000 hours with a signator contractor.
