COVID-19 Preparedness Plan

Please be aware that Executive Order 20-74 issued today includes new requirements of all critical industries including construction:

  1. Beginning on June 29, 2020, all Critical Businesses must have developed and implemented a COVID-19 Preparedness Plan in accordance with the industry guidance posted to the Stay Safe Minnesota website https://staysafe.mn.gov.
  2. In consultation with relevant agencies, the Commissioners of Health, Employment and Economic Development, and Labor and Industry are directed to prepare and publish additional industry guidance for Critical Businesses, as necessary, no later than June 15, 2020.
  3. All such guidance will be posted to the Stay Safe Minnesota website https://staysafe.mn.gov.

While many signatory contractors have already developed and implemented COVID-19 Preparedness Plans, it will be necessary for all contractors to have such a plan by June 29.

We will continue to provide updated information on our website: https://mntrades.org/covid-19-resources/.

Respectfully,
Douglas B. Schroeder, President / Secretary-Treasurer
